I've been trying to do a reading without relying on the guidebook, just based on the artwork. It's been a little challenging! Does anyone have any tips on how to go deeper with the imagery and intuit the message of a card without referring to the book?

Take some time to get to know your cards. Sleep with one under your pillow and ask the question before you go to sleep: What can Spirit tell me about this card? Also, ask yourself, who or what does this card remind me of? This is a good way to start forming your intuitive meanings of the cards. If you're already acquainted with your cards...Look at the layout and see how they complement each other....what story is unfolding before your eyes?
