Today was a day of rest for me. I napped most of the day and admittedly did not feel guilty. Quite frankly, I needed the rest, both physically and mentally. It made me wonder why I wrestle against caring for myself and my needs.

Take Care Of Yourself
When we don’t care for ourselves properly, it is an indicator (a red flag) that we are not feeling ‘worthy.’ Pay attention to your self-care. Check-in with yourself to see if you are eating right, resting fully, and feeding your mind with uplifting and affirming stories and information.
Putting Others First
It is easy for us to take care of others’ needs first. To notice what our loved ones require to feel strong and supported. But not so easy for us to focus on ourselves and our needs. We may even feel selfish for thinking about it.
Make Your Needs A Priority
Let’s make ourselves more of a priority too. Check in with yourself every single day to see if you’re hungry, angry, lonely, or tired. If any of these emotions hover around you, then realize you notice a ‘red flag’ and a storm could be brewing.
Be Grateful
Be grateful for recognizing that you need to take a break occasionally. Find reasons to be grateful for everything in your life and the intuitive abilities you have been given to navigate any situation. The only thing that can make you feel unworthy is how you judge yourself when things don’t go well.
Do Something Positive
Worthiness and self-care go hand in hand. Reach out to others by making a phone call or posting something on Facebook or other social media. Anything you can do to improve your feelings and grow in confidence is a blessing that must be pursued. I am happy and Healthy! Little Things Mean A Lot
Instead of trying to change many things about your life in a day. Think about making little changes over time. Adopt a new positive habit that helps raise your spirits and keeps you feeling. The following week start a healthy eating plan, and so on. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and when you’re finding ways to empower yourself and help you feel good about life. It can be a trial and error-process, so don’t worry if something doesn’t quite fit with you. Some people like running, while others prefer yoga; doing what suits you will help raise you out of any funk you’ve gotten yourself into. Use the mantra; I am a work in progress!
Control Is An Illusion
John Lennon said it best when he said, ‘Life happens while we make other plans’. Sometimes things happen beyond our control, and we can only make the best of a bad situation. The only thing we can control is our reaction when things don’t go our way. Keep yourself open to the following blessing the universe will bring. While not every cloud has a silver lining, it can teach us valuable things about ourselves. The true measure of a person is not how we react when things go right but when things go wrong. This shows us who we are and how far we have come on our spiritual journey. So, congratulate yourself for how far you have come. Use the mantra – I am doing my best!

Come To Terms With Doing Your Best
I try to live a balanced life and navigate it with gratitude and peace for all the good and bad times. My best and your best differ from time to time. For instance, my best when feeling energetic differs from when I’m tired. Still, I will try and rise to the occasion and do what I need when asked, and I’m sure you will do too! Love yourself for the battles you win and those where you don’t quite succeed as you imagined. Life is a journey and not a destination. Decide that you are worthy of love, peace, and joy! After all, it’s only in your mind that you might not feel like you are not! When you’re talking bad about yourself, say this mantra repeatedly until you believe it! I AM worthy of love, understanding, peace, and joy!
